Did you know that National Pizza Day was last week? Don't feel sad, you can celebrate it at one of these tasty sounding establishments below – or others that have been recommended on the Kinfo app.

London is awash with pizzerias knocking their dough game out of the park. Healthy options suit all diets. Being vegan/gluten/wheat free has never been easier!

Check out Kinfo for new recommendations that are being added all the time. And find previous weekly newsletters here.

Franco Manca

"Whatever the question, pizza is the answer," declares this Napoli-born, UK chain that started in Brixton market in the early 80s. The sourdoughs are a favourite for this mum, see the app for her cookbook recommendation also. Yorkshire ham, Cornish sausage, Italian chorizo... their secret seems to be mixing small producers with passion.

L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele

Doesn't this picture make you want to dive right in? Following a Stoke Newington launch with just two pizza choices on the menu, there's now a branch in Baker Street and enough varieties to challenge every decision-making bone in your body, here. "Delicious and big," says this Kinfo mum.

Pizza East

"Lovely staff, kids menu and a perfect early dinner outing," says a mum of 3. The trio of Soho House owned pizzerias are located in an old Shoreditch tea factory, a former Georgian pub in Portobello and a venue in Kentish Town, all in London.

Sodo Pizza

Sticking east, for a little Bon Jon Chovy (yup, a pizza that rocks out the anchovies). This mum loves that her daughter is a fan and that Sodo is not part of a chain – although there are in fact four branches, but we know what she means, look how cosy it is.

Quartieri

The £1 kids' mini pizzas halfway down Kilburn's main drag have been a godsend. Although, we do find that because they are so yummy, the kids now want more. And who are we to deny them? Recommended by a mum of 1.

Yard Sale

'The Pepe Le Pew is to die for but our daughter likes the margherita and strawberry shorty," says this parent. Yard Sale literally started out in the back yard of one of the founders. Now there are four restaurants, happy customers across north and east London and an esteemed Cheap Eats Award under their belt.

Zia Lucia

A "neighbourhood pizzeria" with a family-friendly vibe (or should we say auntie-friendly, auntie is zia in Italian). Their newest spot in rapidly regenerating Wembley sells a Nutella-filled fermented crust with fruit. Of the west London branch, one mum tells us of the "melt in the mouth cheesy wonderfulness."

Gluten/Wheat Free Pizza

Recommended by a mum of 2 who describes these chickpea bases as "simply delicious". In this cleaner eating world that we inhabit the method sounds so easy (using minimal ingredients) and so tasty, that we're sold. "Every bite is a new opportunity to feel healthier and happier," says the indbodygreen website. Pass us the chickpeas...

Cheese Stuffed Pizza Pretzels

Healthy? Not really. Scrummy? Oh yes. A "quick, easy and fun" activity, recommends this mum of 2. Try using a number of veggies and decorative food to give yours an extra delicious twist.

Our fab playlist covers tunes old and new to play on that half term playdate.
Best served with pizza and friends.
