"I have to plan something for my kids' holidays".
Hello mums and dads,
Well, it feels like Easter has only just ended, yet winter seems to have returned, and here we are talking about summer half term already. Today's newsletter is a selection of recommendations for day camps and workshops that parents have shared on Kinfo... to give you some (tested) ideas on what you should book your kid(s) onto for their next week off school.

PS: We also have a closed Facebook group where mums and dads discuss or ask for recommendations: join us here.

KidsCamp Beaumont: Mill Hill
Outdoor.Camp. 3+
Recommended by one 10-year-old's mum, this camp runs every day during half term in the beautiful estate of Mill Hill School, which is located in a very rural setting just ten miles from the centre of London. Pick ups from and to various places in West London can be arranged.

Paddington Sports Club
Junior.Tennis. 5+
This “hidden secret of Maida Vale,” says a mum of 2, gives kids lots of space to have a proper run around the yard (or tennis courts, in this case). Bookings are taken by phone (020 7286 8448) for the half term tennis holiday week for 5-15-year-olds, running everyday from 10am-3pm.

Clip 'n Climb
Clip.Climb.Jump. 4+
A "very creative climbing space" recommended by this dad of 3. With a giant slide, a jumping platform and many funky walls to climb on, this is the perfect place for birthday parties. You can rent the whole place or just buy the number of passes you need for your guests. There is a function room to celebrate your child's big day and a mezzanine to admire the little climbers.

Mini Picasso
Art.Workshops. 5+
" My kids love it!" says this mum of 3. This art school in Kensal Rise is well known by the local kids for their after school or weekend classes where they enjoy different materials, art techniques and projects. Information about half term workshops are here.

Paddington Recreation Court
Junior.Sports. 5+
Recommended by local parents, including this mum of 3 on Kinfo who certifies the quality of the team. "Paddington Rec" offers various options for the camps, which run from Tuesday till Friday, 10am-4pm: including multisports, cricket, tennis and football. Simply ring the centre (020 7286 8448) to book a camp. Hurry, though, places quickly sell out.

Waitrose
Cookery.Class. 5+ and 8+
Kids from age 5 will cook lovely strawberry filo baskets with lemon cream. Those age 8+ will enjoy the taste of a wonderful tomato and asparagus tart, followed by chocolate and apricot cookies. One mum tells us how friendly the Finchley Road chefs are. See her full review on the Kinfo app and be quick to book your 1hr 30 or 2 hours slots for the 30th of May here.

KidsArt!
Art.Classes. 5+
"A brilliant inspiration for kids," said this mum. Situated at the northern end of the Northern line, sessions cost £35 for 3 hours, and include materials and snacks. Half term classes will run on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am-1pm (or 5pm on Thursday) and will cover Picasso, Canaletto, Ancient Egyptian Art and Van Gogh. Book here.

Lee Valley Velo Park
BMX/MTB.Camp. 7+
Recommended by a couple of mums on the Kinfo app, the Queen’s Elizabeth Olympic Park offers velodrome cycling classes for kids aged between 7 and 16. Lessons are from 10am-3pm so be prepared to stay there while your little people enjoy improving their cycling skills. Free parking, too. "Fantastic place," says this mum. Book here.

BAYSIXTY6 Skate Park
Skate.Camp. 7+
Roll down to the Westway’s famous undercover skate park in West London for beginner-to-intermediate Easter skate camps with ramps, halfpipes, stairs, gaps, ledges, rails… you name it. The teachers, a mum of 2 tells us, were amazing. Camps run every day, 10am-4pm. Book here.

Animal Inside Out
Education.Workshop. 7+
The Royal Institution workshops are well known for the quality of their education. This summer half term, the programme includes animal workshops (there is a lot to learn just by looking at their bodies, pupils will learn). Join a vet and let your child enjoy the discovery of animals inside and out. Recommended by a dad on Kinfo. Book your ticket here.
