the oldest festival of the Christian Church celebrates the resurrection of Christ. Held on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox.

We have selected Easter holiday fun and games for this and next week's newsletter. What's not to love about a bit of advanced planning!

If the Snow-Day-Lock-Ins put you off looking at your emails last week, we strongly recommend that you don't miss out on our previous mailer, if only to pour over the beautiful images ... Check it out here.

We are so grateful to our community of parents for sharing tips on the Kinfo app. Earn yourself enough points (100 to be exact) and you too will be on the receiving end of an Amazon voucher.

Have a good weekend!

Polka Theatre

Lots for teeny tots to do and a few am-dram delights for older kids. The holiday programme includes musical cake hunts, puffin puppetry, bunny training, free storytelling and role play. Recommended twice on Kinfo app for its lovely cafe, imaginative play and outdoor space.

Great Eggcase & Scavenger Hunts

Kent's Viking Trail is tipped by a mum of 2 (log into the app to read her review), flat paths framed by the North Sea. This Easter, marine life scavenger hunts will take place on passing beaches, see the link. Ages 4-11.

Children's Story Centre

Recently refurbished "story centre for ages 0-11" has an indoor soft play and small, outdoor playground. Hunt for eggs all Easter weekend, no pre-booking required, or sign up for one of the children's author storytelling sessions. "A wonderful interactive venue," says this mum.

Audley End Railway

"Brilliant events at Easter!" raves a mum of 1. Themed train rides, I spy games in the forest, Easter Bunny meet 'n' greets, and craft activities to finish. This picture tells us all we need to know, where do we book? (Here).

Chiltern Cycle Route

"Pedal powering our way along flat routes is fun and easy for all the family," says this dad. Burn off all those choccy eggs on the Phoenix Trail, a 5 mile footpath, horse riding and cycle route that links Thame in Oxfordshire with Princes Risborough in Bucks.

Milford Sea Walk

"Sweet seaside town with friendly residents and a lovely 6 mile walk," says this mum. Walk along the seafront onto the cliffs, where in good weather you will see across to the Isle of Wight. Hunt for oval pebbles to paint and turn into Easter eggs back home.

Horniman Museum

One of the "Top 10 coolest museums in the world," said the New York Times this year. High praise! Jostle alongside a new influx of US tourists at the Easter storytelling and Easter Fair events these holidays. "Fantastic museum and gardens," says one mum of 2.

Kids With Brains

They may be off school, but there's no rest for the academic! Send them to these "amazing holiday camps," said a mum of 2. See their website for Easter class information, coming soon, and check out the birthday party page.
