A place where people pay to sit and eat meals that are cooked and served on the premises.
"It's one of my favourite restaurants, partly for the food but mainly for the staff who is very patient with the kids.’
Hello to all and welcome to our new weekly issue!
This week, we've selected a few addresses from the Kinfo app of restaurants that parents recommend eating at with their little ones. We also had a look at what mums and dads are sharing on the Kids Activity Hunters group, our Facebook hangout, where we love sharing ideas and reviews. Why not joining it too? It's here.
Enjoy & Bon Appetit!

"A good gluten-free fish and chips family friendly restaurant," says this mum of 2. And even if you have no dietary preferences, this is a great address to enjoy the fresh fish that is delivered daily from Billingsgate Fish Market, with home made chips, both fried separately in pure vegetable oil. Book only here.
This is a place to try if you have young carnivores in your family, as this mum says who is highly recommending it. Not all that grand looking from the outside, this steakhouse style restaurant nevertheless has excellent reviews for the quality of its meat and service.
Authentic, unassuming coffeehouse with a personal and authentic decor touch. Wiener Schnitzel, Kaesespaetzle, fine imported Austrian wine and beer will please you whilst your child is sat up in a stylish high chair next to you enjoying great Austrian tapas. Recommended by a toddler's mum.
You might know this restaurant for late, grown-up dinners. It's actually a great one for a family "brunch and early dinner," as recommended by this mum of 3. We think it's wise to book a table in advance as it can be seriously packed. Call them on 02089694500 to book a table (they always keep free tables for last minute reservations by phone). Other branches in Shoreditch and Kentish Town.
Recommended by a toddler's mum, this is a unique place to take the kids. We have been told by that the service is discreet yet attentive, the dim sum and other Chinese specialities very good. The location is quite special as it sits on the Paddington canal. A true hidden gem.
Necco is cat in Japanese. Cat is their symbol of easy, laid-back indulgence. You will find cat pictures and objects everywhere in this tiny charming, authentic Japanese restaurant. One dad goes every week with his kids and he reports that there is always the same quality of service, and perfectly prepared crispy chicken set meal.
"One of the best burgers in town," for this mum of 2. "A great place for dinner with hungry children," for this other one who has organised a birthday party there. Ask for the kids' burger that is not in the menu. It will cost you half the price of your adult one and will be not less enjoyed! No booking but a queue tracker. Many branches across London.
Sushi is very popular among children but quality and price can put parents off. According to this mum of 3 you can go there with your eyes closed. "The best sushi restaurant around Swiss Cottage and Hampstead". With a reasonable price tag, especially for lunch. Call them to book your table – as you won't be the only ones to have the same idea. Contacts and addresses are here.
